Strange but I also have UBP-X700 and it plays dts and dts-x , dts -ma fine. Most of my movies ( mkv ) are stored in my portable, 1 GB hard drive connected on the USB port of X700 . I can play Tru-HD on X700 on 4K UHD disc but not when the movie is stored in my hard drive ( no sound ). I read in this forum that tru-hd is dolby's equivalent to atmos eBV5.
