#1 · Jul 10, 2013 Just picked up my car after getting a new DMF/clutch and the steering rack reconditioned. Those components seem to be fine, however shortly after picking up the car intermittent error messages started to appear "vehicle protection and/or VDC and Hill holder not available".

Hill hold (on my 1.4MA TCT) just holds the car from rolling backwards for a couple or four seconds to give time to get your foot from brake to accelerator when you'd normally use the handbrake in a manual (in UK style driving practice anyway). Hi guys.. I've got a VDC/ASR/Hill Holder Issue on my mito out of the blue. Also I get a steering wheel alignment warning displayed which shows on the screen and once I restart the engine these do not show up again. Ive been reading posts/threads on alfaowner with 159's having these issues and they mentioned some sensor failure or brake light 159/Brera/Brera Spider.
