Repeat until you have 8 burgers total. Set your electric griddle to 350 degrees. Brush with some oil. Add the patties to the griddle, making sure they don't touch. Don't touch the burgers for 4-5 minutes, then flip. Add cheese if desired (see notes below) Serve on buns with your favorite fixings.
Preheat grill to 500. While preheating, sprinkle small amount of salt and pepper to hamburger surfaces. Form two patties. Use thumb and place a shallow divot in each burger. Once preheated, place burger on grates, divot side down. Allow to grill for 5 minutes, undisturbed.
The internal temperature for a well-done burger should be about 160°F. If you’d like to add cheese, add it on top during the last minute of cooking and make sure to close the lid so it melts. Most importantly, like any other smoked or grilled meat, allow your burgers to REST for 5 minutes. Serve them hot with any and all desired toppings and
